How do I wear the carrier facing inwards?
- Adjust the velcro inside the waistband based on your baby’s age and size.
- Fasten the waistband around your waist (just above your hips) and tighten it until snug (you should be able to slide in one hand, but not rotate it).
- Ensure the Velcro panel is fully aligned do not fold or overlap it. The full surface should be secured for safety.
- Place your baby on your chest and pull the back panel of the carrier up over your baby.
- Gently bounce your baby up and down a little to let them settle deep into the seat. This helps baby’s bottom sink into the carrier, allowing for proper pelvic tilt and natural spine alignment.
- Hold your baby with one hand. With the other, bring one shoulder strap over your shoulder, diagonally across your back, and clip it into the opposite buckle at your side.
- Repeat this for the other shoulder strap while continuing to support your baby.
- Lift your baby slightly under the bum and tighten the shoulder straps using the adjustment webbing.
- Make sure the straps sit comfortably on your shoulders not cutting into your neck.
- Your baby should be visible and kissable (forehead at kiss height).
- If not, lift and tighten accordingly.
How do I wear the carrier facing outwards?
- Fasten the waistband snugly around your waist (just above your hips) and let the panel hang down in front.
- Adjust the velcro inside the waistband to narrow the seat width, so it fits your baby’s leg span without overspreading.
- Place your baby facing outward, with their back resting against your chest.
- While supporting your baby, bring the shoulder straps over your shoulders and cross them diagonally across your back. Clip them into the opposite side buckles.
- Gently bounce or lift your baby under the bottom to help them settle into the carrier. Then tighten the straps using the adjustment webbing.
Important:
Recommended from: 6 months and good head/neck control
- Only use this position for short periods (max. 20 minutes at a time)
- Never use when baby is sleepy switch to inward facing for proper head and neck support
- Always monitor your baby’s cues and comfort
How do I wear the carrier as a backpack?
Backpack Carry
- Adjust the velcro inside the waistband according to your baby’s size.
- Fasten the waistband snugly around your waist (just above your hips). Ensure the Velcro panel is fully aligned and not folded or overlapped.
- Make sure the shoulder straps are buckled left-to-left and right-to-right, creating backpack-style straps.
- Rotate the empty carrier to your side, and hold your baby securely against your body (facing you).
- Pull the back panel of the carrier up over your baby’s back while continuing to support them.
- Slide one arm at a time through the shoulder straps, as if you’re putting on a backpack.
- Lean slightly forward to keep your baby’s weight centered and secure.
- Gently bounce or shift your hips, allowing your baby’s bottom to sink deeper into the seat for a safe and ergonomic M-position.
- Tighten the shoulder straps using the webbing, so your baby sits high, snug, and evenly supported.
Recommended from 6+ months with strong head and sitting control
Backpack Carry - Superman Toss
- Fasten the waistband snugly around your waist (above your hips) and ensure the shoulder straps are buckled on their matching sides (left-to-left, right-to-right).
- Lift your baby into a “Superman” position supporting under their chest and hips and gently place them over your shoulder onto your back.
- While leaning slightly forward for balance, support your baby’s bottom and slip one arm at a time into the shoulder straps, like putting on a backpack.
- Gently bounce your hips to help your baby settle deep into the seat. This encourages a proper M-position and improves comfort.
- Tighten the shoulder straps so your baby sits high, secure, and close to your body.
Important:
Recommended for older babies/toddlers with strong head and torso control.
Always keep one hand securely on your baby during the entire process, until both straps are fully on and tightened.
